Akara is a tradition we experienced growing up - peeling beans, cutting up peppers, and blending it into a fine paste. This dish has all the protein, carbohydrates you want in these little golden brown balls, crispy outside, and soft inside. Take a bite of some nostalgia!

Akara is packed with protein, carbohydrates and is a perfect snack by itself, with a bowl of hot breakfast custard/pap or super enjoyable in between bread for the perfect sandwich or slider.

Reheating

Thaw your Akara till it is no longer frozen. Reheat for 1:30 in the microwave.

Thaw your Akara till it is no longer frozen and place them in an air fryer. Reheat for 5 minutes at 350F.

Thaw your Akara till it is no longer frozen and preheat the oven to 350F. Place Akara on a baking tray and reheat in the oven for 8 minutes.
